In dazzling white, Santuarios sweeping arches and clean architectural lines sit against a wild vista. Beyond lie coconut palms, mango-laden trees and the rice paddies farmed over centuries.
A retreat from city life, SANTUARIO’s twin villas have been gently crafted around the concept of gathering together. This peaceful home may be the beginning of your family legacy.
Working with renowned architect firm Jugal Mistri, SANTUARIO balances opulent open spaces with the simplicity and warmth of a traditional Portuguese-Goan family home. With its dynamic spaces, central elevator and generous room sizes, these two-story homes have been designed for comfort and flow
Set among brightly-coloured Bouganvillia vines and palms, the spacious private pool can hold a gathering of thirty. Beyond, the garden has been thoughtfully planted to blossom every month of the year
Vast airy rooms find their grounding in the warmth and simplicity of solid wood furniture.
Conventional design principles have been reimagined for this century. The traditional gable pitches of our roof have been fragmented into three dynamic third-floor living spaces, designed for hosting. Beautiful Portuguese mosaic tiles and traditional Goan red floor tiles reveal themselves among contemporary shapes and spaces.
At the heart of the double-height kitchen is a sweeping 30ft table: a place for hosting friends and family. From one end to the other, this beautifully-crafted centrepiece will comprise a 10ft working kitchen countertop, a bespoke bar and a long dining table.
In the bedrooms, citrus scents drift from the nearby Frangipani trees and morning light filters through vivid tropical gardens.
Each of the five generously-sized bedrooms has its own unique spirit, offering more than simply a place to sleep. One bedroom features a library with a cosy reading nook, while the master bedroom opens out onto the roof terrace. The ground floor bedroom is well connected with the main living spaces, offering accessibility for older guests.
With ample space to unwind, our guest bathrooms and ensuites have been designed with relaxation and wellbeing in mind. Drift away in spacious soapstone tubs and under towering rainfall showers, all in natural earth tones to ground the nervous system.
